South Carolina women’s basketball announced the team’s non-conference schedule on Thursday, set to begin Nov. 25 with a home opener against College of Charleston.

The Gamecocks will play a total of six non-conference games, including three home games held in Colonial Life Arena. Up to 3,500 fans will be allowed to attend home games in Colonial Life Arena this season, and face coverings will be required at all times.

Following the season opener against the Cougars, the Gamecocks will play a Thanksgiving tournament Nov. 28 through Nov. 30, followed by North Carolina State at home Dec. 3. South Carolina then travels to Iowa State on Dec. 6, then back home to play Temple on Dec. 17, and lastly to the University of Connecticut on Feb. 8.

Head Coach Dawn Staley said in an interview with GamecocksOnline that scheduling the 2020-2021 season came with more challenges this year and she appreciated everyone’s patience while awaiting the schedule announcement. Coach Staley also said she and the team are excited to get back into "the routine of basketball" in less than a month.
