The 2025-26 Off-Broadway season at Koger Center for the Arts is coming soon. It will feature six popular musicals, ranging from new and upcoming shows to old favorites.
The season features a diverse range of performances, from suspenseful murder mysteries to imaginative family stories involving alter egos, ensuring there’s something exciting for each audience.
Mrs. Doubtfire
“Mrs. Doubtfire”, first performed in 2021, is a heartfelt musical comedy about the lengths people will go to stay together. The musical is based off of the 1993 film of the same title and was created by John O’Farrell and the Tony-nominated duo Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick.
The national tour began in 2023 and will visit cities across the U.S., including Boston, Massachusetts, Little Rock, Arkansas and New Brunswick, New Jersey. Craig Allen Smith stars as both Daniel Hillard and Mrs. Doubtfire, and Melissa Campbell plays Miranda Hillard.
The musical features a divorced dad who creates a Scottish nanny alter ego in order to stay in touch with his children. The stage adaptation uses humor from the movie while adding emotional depth through music and movement. The musical will run from Nov. 11 to Nov. 13.
The Music Man
“The Music Man”, written by Meredith Willson, is a classic musical that first hit Broadway in 1957. It tells the story of salesman Harold Hill, who plans to scam a small town until he falls in love with the local librarian.
The upcoming 100-city tour will begin in January 2026 and will be directed by Matt Lenz, known for his work on "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Hairspray." Choreography will be led by Tony nominee Joshua Bergasse, who will be choreographing all new dances for the performance.
The show will run from Jan. 20 to Jan. 22 and include catchy songs, such as "Seventy-Six Trombones" and "Trouble," bringing a heartfelt story to life.
Chicago
With its mix of murder, fame and jazz, “Chicago” showcases the world of 1920s production and scandal through the story of two women who will do anything to stay in the spotlight. The audience can expect Fosse-style dance numbers and unforgettable songs, such as “All That Jazz” and “Cell Block Tango."
This production showcases Ellie Roddy returning to the cellblock as Roxie Hart, Claire Marshall making her debut as Velma Kelly, and Max Cervantes sliding into the role of the smooth-talking Billy Flynn.
The musical first opened on Broadway in 1975 and is still performing in New York today. The musical will take the stage from Feb. 24 to Feb. 26.

Beetlejuice: The Musical
“Beetlejuice: The Musical”, based on Tim Burton’s cult classic 1988 film, is a high-energy show with jaw-dropping visuals and humor that was originally performed in 2019 and has since become a fan favorite. The musical is a ghost story, but it holds a deeper meaning about grief and family.
Justin Collette brings wild energy as Beetlejuice, fully capturing his mischievous charm, and Madison Mosley shines as Lydia, adding heart and emotion to the role. Together, they create the fun and captivating dynamic that keeps the show entertaining.
"Beetlejuice: The Musical" will run from April 14 to April 19, and audiences can expect a show packed with surprises and spooky fun.
Clue
“Clue", a stage musical based on the board game, was first brought to the stage in 1995. The musical is an immersive experience for the audience, allowing 216 possible endings to the show.
The musical is touring across North America, with upcoming stops in cities such as Colorado Springs, Colorado, Portland, Oregon and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The show is intended for all ages and will be performed on June 6 and 7. The music and audience interaction set this show apart.
Wicked
The hit Broadway musical “Wicked” is coming to town and will tell the untold story of the witches from the 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz” before Dorothy starts her journey in the Emerald City. Audiences can expect stunning sets, powerful songs and a magical story.
Jessie Davidson stars as Elphaba, with Zoe Jensen as Glinda, bringing energy and showcasing their skill to these iconic roles. Their performances highlight the story’s powerful music and characters, offering a memorable experience for both longtime fans and newcomers.
“Wicked” has recently come out with a film adaptation and has been a fan favorite since its Broadway debut in 2003. The musical is perfect for all ages and will run from March 25 to April 5.
