Junior outside hitter Riley Whitesides bump passes the ball at a beach volleyball practice on Jan. 19, 2023. This will be Whitesides' first season coming from the indoor court to the sand. Whitesides started her junior year as a captain for the Gamecocks in the fall 2022 season, acquiring 268 kills, 165 digs and 839 total attacks.
