Consumers should try to prevent the increase in fast fashion consumption in order to try to avoid environmental damages and worker mistreatment. To do this, consumers should be more conscious about where they buy clothes.

In the process of expanding the university, USC gentrified historically Black neighborhoods and contributed to depleting affordable housing since the 1960s. The university needs to do more to help the residents of Columbia, to donate some of the land it acquired back and to create more dorms in the central campus area.

There has been outcry about the lack of diversity in the USC board of trustees over past years. We need to see change: USC should have a representative group of board members of different races and backgrounds, rather than a majority of white male members.

As final exams are approaching, many students fall victim to burnout and forget to take care of themselves which results in poor mental health.
