USC alumnus Henry William Ravenel, renowned botanist and mycologist, studied natural history and discovered many new species along the way. The University of South Carolina police department was unable to locate a suspect in an armed robbery that took place near campus at Main and Whaley Streets at 3:30 a.m. early Tuesday morning.
