Just over the Blossom St. bridge, Tea Pot Chinese Restaurant is cooking up the best take-out in town and making its customers’ lives easier.
In addition to traditional dine-in and take-out, Tea Pot conveniently offers online ordering and delivery services.
“Most delivery places only go two or three miles, but we go sometimes 10 miles,” Casey Sharpe, a cashier and first-year HRTM student, said.
Sharpe believes that Tea Pot is also set apart from other Chinese restaurants because everything is made to order to ensure freshness. Because Tea Pot doesn’t offer a buffet, people are allowed to modify their orders for a truly personalized experience.
Sharpe said USC is an integral part of the restaurant’s business.
“We deliver on-campus to all of the dorms, and we’ve even been known to cater for some of the departments,” she said.
She said that the dish of choice for most Gamecocks is General Tso’s chicken.
