Game will start at 7:45 p.m. on ESPN
South Carolina–Clemson is headed for prime time.
The Southeastern Conference announced Monday that the 109th meeting of the rivalry will kick off at 7:45 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium on Nov. 26 and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
The announcement came a week after a tweet by former Gamecocks quarterback and current radio play-by-play man Todd Ellis, which suggested a 7:45 p.m. start time on ESPN, created a furor among fans.
Clemson leads the all-time series between the two schools 65-39-4, but the Gamecocks have won two straight and three of five.
