Baseball rallies to earn win over Stetson

After sweeping rival Clemson over the weekend, the Gamecock baseball team fought through the cold to win both meetings of a two-game homestand against Stetson on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The South Carolina baseball team’s pitching staff last season took the nation as well as themselves by surprise. But as quickly as they burst onto the scene, they were gone, with the likes of Nolan Belcher, Tyler Webb and Adam Westmoreland graduating out of the program.


	In his first season as head coach, Chad Holbrook took the Gamecocks one game short of a College World Series appearance. He looks to expand on that success in year-two.
