Herrick Brown, curator of the University of South Carolina’s A.C. Moore Herbarium, holds one of 140,000 dried plant specimens. Brown graduated from USC in 1996 with a degree in biology and has used this passion to pursue work in a variety of fields, including creating habitats for the animals at the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC.
