I agree with Kevin Carr's Wednesday column that corporations should pay their fair share of taxes. The Republican Party loves to subsidize the rich and create tax loopholes for upper-class donors by scaring the middle- and lower-class with the argument that, with high corporate taxes, companies would have less of an incentive to hire more workers.
As a person completely confused by religion, the beginnings of the universe and whether or not there is a god (not to mention whether or not this god's morals are questionable), I appreciated Emily Shipp's column more than any other I have read lately.
