“Deadpool” raked in over $150 million at the box office its opening weekend from geeks and newbies alike. That’s a lot of chimichangas. My friend John Dondero, a local con-goer and owner of 13th Floor EFX in North Carolina, described the “Deadpool” experience better than I ever could: “A Deadpool comic in the form of a Deadpool movie that was doing a great job at being a Deadpool comic.” The movie follows the comics' canon storyline closely, and with how many times Wade Wilson breaks the fourth wall to comment on his own film, the movie in turn becomes one of his comics come alive on the big screen.
