USC officials are quietly floating around the idea to charge for student tickets next year.
What makes us even more proud, though, is that this march was carried out without incident or violence and that it followed the rules Haley set forth in her speech. The news from this week has contained startling accounts of police crackdowns, protester resistance and, in general, conduct that endangers both the message of this movement and the safety of its participants. This march was an example of protest within the rule of law.
Regardless, exercising my rights Thursday has been one of the most exhilarating experiences I've ever had. So many showed support. Some observers looked confused, while others openly disagreed. That didn't stop us, and it never will.
