USC Idol doles out talent in spades

Schiponi takes first place in student singing competition Carolina Productions hosted USC Idol, the USC equivalent of the American Idol series, Tuesday night. Eight students competed in front of three judges and an excited audience, and fourth-year management student Garrett Schiponi came out on top, chosen by audience applause and judges’ votes.


	Snowmine’s fifth album “Dialects” is a studied delight, the product of lush, professional musicality combined with some anthemic catchiness.
