Famously Fit: USC ranked No. 26 fittest college by Active Times

USC ranked 26th on The Active Times’ list of “The 50 Fittest Colleges in America,” which judged colleges based on fitness, health and wellness aspects. Categories of evaluation included athletic facilities and team sports participation, campus eateries and overall quality of student life.

USC music instructor Robert Pruzin dies after long illness

A “virtuoso” French horn player and former marine, Robert Pruzin was a strong presence in USC’s School of Music. As the school’s associate dean and director of undergraduate studies, he advised every incoming first-year music student for 15 years. On Oct. 29, Pruzin died at the age of 66.


Zombie Walk brings out the undead

WUSC hosted its annual Zombie Walk as part of its fall fundraiser week. Participants started putting zombie makeup on others around 5 p.m. on the Russell House Patio and then walked to the house of a WUSC DJ for a cookout.
