Carolinian Creed and Diversity Day was celebrated Wednesday with Greene Street giveaways and Carolina Judicial Council’s announcement of an updated design for the Creed. Adopted in 1989, the Creed is a five-pronged proclamation of personal standards to be upheld by the USC community. “It’s a set of community values that we all want to live by,” said Sam Tang, a graduate assistant in the Office of Student Conduct and adviser to CJC’s Creed committee. “The only reason it’s become such a big part of the university’s life is it’s something we can all do every day.”
