South Carolina football head coach Shane Beamer's contract was extended through 2030 after leading the Gamecocks to a 9-4 season. The University of South Carolina board of trustees approved his $8.15 million yearly salary with a $100,000 increase annually. Beamer holds a 29-22 record, three bowl game appearances in four seasons, and won the 2021 Duke Mayo Bowl since arriving at South Carolina.
