The remains of a South Carolina native were found inside a 9-foot-long alligator in Florida, WLTX reports. A Florida medical examiner determined that the remains were that of Richard Z. Taylor, who moved to Florida from the Palmetto State. The remains were discovered on June 7 in Lakeland, Florida, when officers responded to reports of an alligator with remains in its mouth. The investigation into the cause of death is ongoing, but early reports indicate that the body was in the water for more than a day.
