Members of the South Carolina community came together to remember those who have lost their lives as first responders in South Carolina.
Students reflect on their dorm experiences that brought unexpected memories and ones they won't forget. There were various extensive issues when it came to roommates, laundry, cleanliness and unexpected fire alarms. Despite these problems, students are grateful for the friends and community they have developed by living in a dorm.
Students raised more than $931,000 for children at Prisma Health Children's Hospital during the USC Dance Marathon event.
Climate Ready Columbia event brings together those passionate for energy efficient solutions in the city. Many organization members spoke including people from CPAC, and the SC Energy Office. The city's biggest goal remains the "Ready for 100 pledge", permitting the city to run on 100% clean energy by the year 2036.
The ninth National Eating Disorder Awareness Walk was hosted at the Russell House Patio on Feb. 26. The event included performances from the Carolina Coquettes, guest speakers, and a walk around the Horseshoe.
USC's board of trustees voted on Friday, Feb. 18 to create a statue on campus honoring the three Black students who desegregated the university in 1963.
