It can be hard to find good shopping in Columbia, especially if you’re used to being on a college budget and don’t get out much. Some great boutiques to check out are Vestique, Entourage and Bevello. There are some other stores scattered throughout Five Points, but these three are the best bang for your buck. They always have trendy things, so it’s impossible to walk out empty handed.

Sadly, the retro queen Lana Del Rey only has so many tracks you can play on loop before you drive yourself and all of your friends crazy. Thankfully, I have a solution. Zella Day, a singer-songwriter originally from Arizona, has the same indie-pop feel, and I bet you’ve barely delved into her repertoire.

The campus political organizations went at it Wednesday night in the third annual Carolina Clash debate. Debaters from the College Republicans, College Democrats and College Libertarians were on hand in the Russell House Theater for the debate as well as moderators from The Daily Gamecock.
