South Carolina quarterbacks coach G.A. Mangus has been suspended indefinitely after his arrest early Tuesday morning in Greenville for nuisance conduct.
"G.A. has been suspended from all coaching activities until this matter is resolved," coach Steve Spurrier said in a release. "We are disappointed in his actions and will handle it accordingly."
According to reports, Mangus was spotted urinating on a street at 1:30 a.m. Police said Mangus smelled of alcohol and was having trouble keeping his balance.
When police stopped him, they said his speech was slurred and that he failed to provide "straight answers" to their questions, resulting in the arrest.
