South Carolina first baseman Kyle Martin was selected with the 114th overall pick in the 2015 MLB First-Year Player Draft to the Philadelphia Phillies.

Martin was selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 20th round of the 2014 draft, but decided to stay for his senior year.

Martin finished the 2015 season hitting .350, with 50 runs scored, 12 doubles, two triples, 14 homers and 56 RBIs. He has a .455 on-base percentage and a .635 slugging percentage. He played in all 57 games of his senior year, starting in all but one. In his last at-bat at Carolina Stadium, Martin hit a single where he reached 200 hits and became the 28th player in school history to accomplish this feat.

Martin had a very good season in the SEC, leading the league in homers and slugging percentage. He had a career batting average of .332, finishing his time at South Carolina with 111 runs, 201 hits, 30 doubles, two triples and 22 homers.

In 2013, Martin was named NCAA Regional and was named to the All-Tournament Team in 2013 and 2014. In 2015, he earned second-team All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball and first-team All-SEC honors at first base. He was also named to USA Baseball’s Golden Spikes Award midseason watch list.

UPDATED: Two Gamecocks drafted

Junior left-handed pitched Jack Wynkoop was drafted by the Colorado Rockies with the 2nd pick of the 6th round (167th overall).

With the announcement of season-ending injury of teammate Wil Crowe, Wynkoop had a lot of work to pick up this year. He made 14 starts, went 8-5 with a 3.27 ERA. He pitched 104.1 innings, striking out 86 and walking just 14.

In three seasons, Wynkoop has a career ERA of 3.09 with a 22-14 record. He became the 23rd pitcher in school history to reach the 20-win total.

In 2013, Wynkoop was awarded Freshman All-America honors from Collegiate baseball, along with being named to the SEC All-Freshman Team and SEC Freshman of the week for two consecutive weeks.

Logan Allen: Boston Red Sox, Round 8, 231st overall

Signees Logan Tolbert and Adam Hill both turned down offers to uphold their commitments to play at South Carolina.

Update: Schrock drafted

Junior second baseman Max Schrock became the third Gamecock to be drafted this year when the Washington Nationals selected him in the 13th round, the No. 404 pick overall.

Schrock had a good junior year, hitting .328 with 44 runs, 11 doubles, two triples, six homers and 34 RBI. He also earned second-team All-SEC honors at second base. He was named to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament Team in 2014 and earned second-team Freshman All-America honors from Baseball America and the NCBWA in 2013.

In his three years at South Carolina, he has a .302 batting average, with 110 hits, 17 homers and 93 RBI. Schrock has suffered from many injuries throughout his years, which has caused him some problems.
