Playlist of the week: Rewind to 2009

Imagine it’s 2009. You get home from school and go onto iTunes to find the new song your friend was talking about. The song costs $1.29, but you have an endless amount of iTunes credit to use anyway. You plug your iPod into the desktop computer and wait for it to sync before the new song can be downloaded.

Ten years is a long time, so here's what you might have been listening to in 2009. Justin Bieber released his debut song “One Time” and suddenly became a preteen heartthrob. “TiK ToK” by Kesha had middle schoolers creating hand motions to the not-so age appropriate lyrics. The Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” was overplayed on the radio.

Take a trip down memory lane with these top songs, released a decade ago.
