Playlist of the week: Songs to listen to on the beach

Whether it’s listening to country with the windows down, classic rock at a cookout or EDM at a music festival, certain types of music tend to sound better in the summertime.

Now that the spring semester is over, many students are going on vacation to relax, unwind and get some sun. This playlist is made up of hip-hop and pop songs with a reggae twist, and it’s a perfect fit for a day at the beach with your friends.

One of the remarkable things about music is its ability to transport you to a different place. If you can’t make it to the beach this summer — close your eyes, listen to these songs and pretend you’re there anyway.
