Dr. Reynolds Scott, the president of the Booker T. Washington high school class of 1947, stands to be recognized by the crowd on Sept. 27, 2022. The Center for Civil Rights History and Research announced a $3.4 million grant to support renovations of the Booker T. Washington building and the expansion of civil rights education programs.
