Column: Privacy is a thing of the past

While ALPRs and the AI-assisted Flock Safety network can be used to prevent and solve crime, it also opens the door to misuse and abuse. Due to the lack of oversight no one is safe from this abuse of officers accessing the safety network. The "hands-off" approach has led to numerous cases where innocent civilians have been tracked and stalked. Prompting the question, how far will we allow this abuse to go?
