Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump pulled no punches in his attack on Washington politicians at a campaign event in Florence on Friday, according to a report by the Florence Morning News.

Impassioned attacks on many high-profile politicians — including President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Secretary of State John Kerry — drew applause from the crowd of thousands gathered in the Florence Civic Center.

Trump called politicians out for decisions made regarding topics such as the foreign relations and the economy.

Trump currently polls at 36 percent in the most recent RealClearPolitics average in South Carolina, putting him ahead of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz by 16.3 percent.
