Officers, woman injured in chain reaction wreck

A chain-reaction accident in North Myrtle Beach involving two police cruisers and a Cadillac left three police officers and one woman injured on Wednesday.

All involved in the wreck were hospitalized. The woman's condition as well as one of the officers' condition is not known. The other two officers have been released from the hospital.

The woman, who was driving the Cadillac, rear-ended one cruiser, which caused it to rear-end the other cruiser, according to North Myrtle Beach spokesperson Pat Dowling. The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 17.
