Rock Hill football team involved in fatal crash

A Rock Hill football team was involved in a fatal accident on I-74 in North Carolina, WIS reports. The Ramah JUCO Academy was traveling to a game when their charter bus hit a mile marker. Forty-six people were on the bus, and four were killed. The other 42 to were taken to area hospitals with varying degrees of injury.

Missing teen found

A missing Newberry County teen was found Saturday, WLTX reports. The 19-year-old, who is said to be autistic, was found at a home off Lake Murray near Prosperity. He is undergoing a medical evaluation.

Five Points plaza groundbreaking scheduled

Columbia's Five Points district will break ground on a new Centennial Plaza on Monday, The Free Times reports. The project is expected to be completed by November, in time for an unveiling on Veterans Day. 2015 actually marked the district's centennial, but the celebration has spread into 2016.
