A male pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on S. Assembly Street late Wednesday night has died, according to the Columbia Police Department.
The accident occurred around 9 p.m., and two drivers were taken in for questioning. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and passed away Thursday morning.
The accident is still under investigation by CPD.
