Evening crash kills 3

Three people were killed in a crash on I-77 in Richland County late Thursday, The State reports. The trio were killed when the driver of their car lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic and hit another SUV. The driver of the second car was also hospitalized, and traffic on the affected section of the interstate was blocked for hours.

Arrests made in car dealership burglary

Three people were arrested in connection with a burglary at a Honda dealership in Orangeburg, WIS reports. The three men, all teenagers, are accused of stealing more than $100,000 in merchandise back on Oct. 9 from Honda of Orangeburg. They each face charges of burglary in the second degree.

Man arrested for stealing tree-trimming equipment

A man was arrested for stealing tree-trimming equipment from a Berkeley County company, WLTX reports. The man broke into the company's facilities and took more than $40,000 worth of equipment while employees were out working on Hurricane Matthew recovery. Officials say a woman was also with the man at the time of the incident and that she may face charges.
