Three ACC championships moved to SC over NC law

North Carolina's loss is South Carolina's gain when it comes to ACC championships, WIS reports. The conference announced new sites for events moved out of North Carolina in response to the state's controversial "bathroom bill," and three of them are in the Palmetto State. The ACC women's soccer championship is headed to Charleston, and the women's and men's golf championships are set for Pawley's Island and Clinton. Other championships were moved to Georgia and Kentucky.

Palmetto Health Children receives grant

Palmetto Health Children's Hospital received a major endowment Tuesday, WIS reports The hospital was awarded $1.2 million to put toward clinical trials fro Curing Kids Cancer. The money will go toward various research endeavors related to cancer treatments.

Players, coaches suing church over Rock Hill bus crash

Victims of a deadly bus crash near Rock Hill are suing the church from which they chartered the bus, The Charlotte Observer reports. Twelve coaches and players from Ramah JUCO Academy filed the negligence suit, citing injuries and medical expenses. Four people were killed in the September crash and 42 others were injured.
