Nick Hooks received two more campaign violation accusations Monday after attending Alpha Chi Omega and Kappa Kappa Gamma’s chapter meetings.

Hooks, who is running for speaker of the senate, gifted bouquets of flowers to the presidents of Alpha Chi Omega and Kappa Kappa Gamma, violating the rules of the soft campaigning period.

According to the Student Government official candidate information packet, candidates are only permitted to distribute flyers and cannot solicit votes until hard campaigning begins following the executive candidate debate on Tuesday night.

Hooks’ campaign currently has four violation points.

The hearing to decide whether Hooks will receive violation points is today at 7:30 p.m. in Russell House 305.
