Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Christmas follows close behind. Whether you are an out-of-state student or an in-state student, you’re likely preparing to go home for a few days. When you hear the word "rape," where does your mind go? Does it go to "Law and Order: SVU" marathons with women jogging through Central Park with the fog creeping around the bushes, hiding from their soon-to-be attackers? Do you think of dark alleys and a girl strolling down a city street at night?
Basically, my dad wants to kill me because I spent way too much on my credit card. I literally have no idea how I spent so much money, but it’s a lot. What can I do to keep track of my money?
Russia is worth looking at right now for a number of reasons, not least of which is the sheer spectacle of watching an entire culture being slowly broken apart by a maniac with iron eyes.
There goes Honey Boo Boo, the pudgy pageant princess whose family antics captured the hearts of millions. There goes Honey Boo Boo, the flatulence-doling, word-slurring, road-kill-eating redneck that made modern parents everywhere cringe with embarrassment. There goes Honey Boo Boo, canceled after allegations that Mama June is dating a convicted sex offender.
Everyone on this campus knows college can be majorly stressful. Balancing everything from classes, extra-curricular activities, exercising and enjoying college can be a lot to handle at times. Some things pile up while others get done quickly. When college starts to get you, it’s important to remember the little things in life.
Aside from Monday’s nontelevised debate in a friendly environment, South Carolina’s senior U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has pretty much avoided the state he represents this campaign season.
The best description of a smartphone I can think of came to me a couple days ago while I was tapping through The New York Times mobile app on my iPhone's slick surface.
Last week, Florida State launched an investigation of their Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jameis Winston. Winston is accused of accepting payment for his signature, a claim that his head coach Jimbo Fisher adamantly refutes.
The screen turns blue, the music swells, the fairy flies in a perfect arc over the perfect castle and every child in America knows that magic is about to happen on screen.
