Confederate rally reflects heritage, incites protests

Columbia saw a First Amendment free-for-all on Sunday. Citizens voiced their support for the Confederate flag and states' rights in the late morning and afternoon outside the Statehouse. The evening consisted of a Black Lives Matter protest at the same location.
