Suspicious fire destroys Beaufort building

Investigators are looking into a fire that destroyed Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce Saturday, The State reports. The 2.2 million dollar building has been a center for controversy since it's construction with someone spray painting "Racist" on the sign before the project even broke ground. According to officials it is too early to know the details for rebuilding. 

Woman identified in possible murder suicide

According to the Richland County Coroner a woman was found dead in a possible murder-suicide, WIS reports. Danielle Colburn-Govan, 46, was found with a gunshot wound to the upper body after officials located her husband dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 

Man involved in fatal hit and run alos carjacks another vehicle

A suspect in a fatal hit and run in Rock Hill fled the scene and carjacked another car, The State reports. Law enforcement is still searching for the man who hit a motorcycle rider, left the scene on foot and proceeded to steal a car. The victim was ejected from the vehicle and died.
