David Axe, a freelance journalist that USC’s College of Mass Communications and Information Studies brought to campus for I-Comm week, told a crowd of journalism students and faculty Tuesday evening that, if given godlike powers to do so, he would not end all war simply because he enjoys writing about it too much.

The statements made by university officials were contradictory. It was said that students with upper-level tickets were "somehow" getting wristbands and they "don't know how." Well, I know how, and so does every other student who enters the stadium prior to 30 minutes to kickoff. The event staff scanning our tickets and getting paid to hand out wristbands to students with only with lower-level tickets are not doing their job.
However, I am noticing a trend where students seem to spend most of the game heckling the other team. This past Saturday I attended the football game against Auburn.
When coming to college, there are certain expectations for the typical experience. The late-night studying, the rushed orders of bad fast food (as if there were good fast food), the late nights and even later mornings spent sleeping in. One of these expectations, however, has caused us to have some serious doubts about how USC handles our four years: housing.

Social and news media alike exploded with excitement Wednesday about Gov. Nikki Haley's decree that all state employees answer their phones with the phrase: "It's a great day in South Carolina. How can I help you?"
In fall 2007, there was not a lottery system. Instead, we would go to the Russell House and get tickets before class or when our schedules would allow.By doing it that way, everyone was pleased with the ticket distribution and there was no chaos whatsoever in the student section.

The program, which resumes Thursday, is under a new contract that equates to $850 per night of service. That's over three times more than last semester, but students will have access to three more taxis then they did previously.
I cannot believe the lengths to which he went to discover the owner of the keys he found randomly lying in the parking garage. Who knew that my CVS card on my key ring would ever be what reunited me with my lost keys? The fact that he thought to use that mechanism to investigate shows that he is quie intelligent.
