Over the past few years, head coach Dawn Staley’s South Carolina program has been dominant.
The South Carolina swimming and diving team gave an exciting end to their regular season, dominating Queens, Wingate, and Vanderbilt this past weekend.
Some might say they're on top of the world. Three months into the season, South Carolina women's basketball is still undefeated, and the Gamecocks are still No. 1 in the nation.
Things are a bit different whenever Kentucky comes to Columbia, and Saturday’s gameday environment showed just that.
Hosting a perennial top ranked team in the midst of a humbling losing streak isn't a formula typically found for turning a team's season around. But last year's 72-67 win over Kentucky was anything but ordinary for South Carolina.

South Carolina’s hockey team faced Liberty University with full force and a lot of intensity. After two nights of games, 19 combined goals, and 56 combined penalties, both games were definitely full of excitement. South Carolina won Friday night 7-6 but fell to Liberty Saturday night 4-2 when failing to score early.
The Gamecocks are home for the week, but will find no rest.
The best way to describe South Carolina’s play Monday night would be dominant.
