Brief: Association of African American Students advocates self-love

The Association of African American Students promoted self-love with lollipops and inspirational quotes on Monday at the Russell House Patio. The organization will be hosting events throughout Black History Month, continuing with "Love Games" on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Russell House Theater.

Chelsea Clinton promotes mother's campaign

Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former president Bill Clinton and 2016 presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, spoke at a "Women for Hillary" forum at Converse College to promote her mother's campaign. Among other things, she discussed the importance of the Supreme Court and college affordability.


Olympic skater endorses Clinton campaign

Olympic figure skater Michelle Kwan advocated for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign at the College Democrats' "Fighting for Us" forum on Thursday night. Kwan and many others support Clinton for her belief in empowerment of all American people.


The College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management is located on College Street. The college is currently looking for a new dean.
