Fans send off women's basketball team before tournament

The weather was gameday perfect as the Gamecock community awaited the doors of the Carolina Coliseum to open in support of the women’s basketball team. From garnet and black jumpsuits, to face paint and gameday-colored hair, students showered the team with their support.

Taco Bell customer assaulted for failure to say ‘excuse me’ A 20-year-old Fort Mill man eating at a Tega Cay Taco Bell told police a man, upset that he did not say “excuse me” after belching, hit him with a chair, wrapped his hands around his throat and tried to head butt him on Sunday, The State reported. Police responded to the Taco Bell at about 4:30 p.m.
